With over 25 years of professional excellence in international development, he steps into his role as District Governor of Rotary International District 3292 for the year 2025–26 with vision, integrity, and purpose.

Academic and Personal Background

Binod holds a Master’s Degree in Science and Health Education from Tribhuvan University, Nepal, and a Diploma in Humanitarian Assistance from Fordham University, New York, USA. He is happily married to Bibha Koirala, and together they are proud parents to daughter Bipasha and son Bishesh.

With a professional career spanning over two decades in international NGOs and development organizations, Binod has cultivated deep expertise in:

Binod’s Rotary journey began in 2003 as the Charter Secretary of the Rotary Club of Pokhara Fishtail, where he later served as President (2008–09). Since then, he has dedicated himself to the growth and impact of Rotary across Nepal:

• Additional District Secretary (2017–18)
• District Trainer (Region 4 – 2021–22)
• Co-chair, District Training Committee (2022–23)
• New Club Advisor, Rotary Club of Pokhara Lakeside

His passion for Rotary training and capacity-building has been instrumental in strengthening clubs across District 3292. He has facilitated countless district-level training events and continues to mentor emerging leaders.

A strong believer in Service Above Self, Binod has led and supported numerous impactful Rotary projects including:

• Clean drinking water and school sanitation initiatives
• Educational scholarships for underprivileged children
• Outreach health camps in remote regions
• 21+ computer labs established in community schools
• Electric cooking project addressing environmental sustainability
• Multiple Global and Matching Grants (GGs/MGs) across development sectors

He also provides project management support to other clubs, fostering collaboration and effectiveness across the district. His hands-on approach and transparency have earned him widespread respect.
